Unbeaten middleweight contender Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez will fight Julio Cesar Garcia on August 24th, Top Rank matchmaker Bruce Trampler told Boxingscene.com Monday night.

The scheduled 10 round bout will headline a "Solo Boxeo" telecast on UniMas.

Also on the Top Rank Promotions card will be unbeaten super bantamweight Jessie Magdaleno in a scheduled eight round bout.

Sanchez (25-0, 20 KOs), from Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico, knocked out Juan De Angel in the third round of his last fight in Mexico City. He is ranked in the the top ten in two of the major sanctioning bodies.

Garcia (46-8, 39 KOs), Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico, stopped Ricardo Valencia in the sixth round of his last bout on March 2nd. The victory snapped a three-bout losing streak for the former fringe contender.

Magdaleno (15-0, 11 KOs) stopped Henry Maldonado in his last bout on June 8th in his hometown of Las Vegas, NV.
