Junior middleweight contender Gabe Rosado (21-7, 13KOs) was sitting ringside at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California - and watched Erislandy Lara (18-1-2, 12KOs) survive two knockdowns to stop Alfredo Angulo in the tenth round. After Lara landed an series of punches, Angulo turned his back to the Cuban boxer and started walking back to his corner. Angulo complained that his orbital bone was possibly broken, which prompted the referee to wave off the contest.

Rosada, like many in the crowd, was shocked with the sudden ending.

"I had Angulo winning the fight. It was weird, I don't understand why he walked off like that. I felt that he had the fight won if he would have just finished it out. Only he knows what he was going through. I just wish he would have tucked it out. he never showed the eye was bothering him. It just happened out of nowhere and he just walked off," Rosado told BoxingScene.com.

Rosado is willing to take on all comers - including Lara. And after watching the fight with Angulo, Rosado is confident he would stop Lara within seven rounds.

"I think I'd stop Lara in six or seven rounds. He doesn't take pressure well. Angulo is a lot slower [than me]. I think with my speed and my size, and smart combinations - I would take Lara out," Rosado said.
