Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico - Mexico's Moises Fuentes successfully defended his 105-pound WBO title with a fifth round TKO over Puerto Rican veteran Ivan "Iron Boy" Calderon.

The Puerto Rican icon controlled the first three rounds with his boxing ability. In the fourth was when Fuentes (16-1, 8 KOs) captured Calderon (35-3-1, 6 KOs) in the corner and battered him with punches. In the fifth Fuentes continued to punish Calderon, scoring several knockdowns before Calderon stayed down for the full count of ten and the fight was waved off at 1:22 of the fifth.

Prior to the final knockdown, Calderon was shaking his right arm and following the loss he confirmed the right arm was injured from a punch landed by Fuentes. Calderon plans to discuss the future of his career with his family.

"Fuentes is a tall opponent, strong and he dominated me in the end. My right arm went out from a punch that he caught me with. I have no excuses but I couldn't use it any more. Now I'm going to sit with my wife and family discuss my future," Calderon said.
