Former WBO cruiserweight champion Enzo Maccarinelli (33-5, 26KOs) will participate in his second bout at the 175-poundlimit at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff on February 25th on the undercard of rival Nathan Cleverly’s WBO title defence against Tommy Karpency.

The 31-year-old, who has been linked to a future fight with Cleverly, has made a successful start at the new weight after boiling down 25lbs and his opponent will to be announced in the near future.

Maccarinelli scored a 99 second knockout in his first fight at the lower limit and hopes to move up the light-heavyweight rankings swiftly in order to secure a future challenge against compatriot Cleverly, possibly in 2012.
