As junior middleweights Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito and thousands of fans who bought tickets fanxiously await the New York State Athletic Commission's decision on whether they will grant Margarito a boxing license to face Cotto in New York on December 3rd at New York's Madison Square Garden, the fighters scheduled to appear on the undercard have almost become forgotten.

If Margarito is unable to secure a license in New York, the fight may move to Denver or Texas.

Pawel Wolak is scheduled to face Delvin Rodriguez in a rematch of their Fight of the Year candidate that took place earlier this year. BoxingScene.com caught up with Wolak to get this thoughts on a potential venue changer and how it might affect him.

"For me I have no issue.  I have known the NYSAC for a very long time and Top Rank promotes me. Both sides are good people and have always treated me well. I just hope they work it out," stated Wolak.

Wolak said that regardless of where the fight takes place he will be ready. He also said that while he looked forward to fighting in front of his East Coast fans that he wouldn't mind gaining new fans should the venue change.

"Nothing changes for me. Familiarity is always good but I also enjoy new places and the chance to make new fans. Kind of like how I much more prefer being an underdog than a favorite but these things are out of my hands," said Wolak to Boxingscene.com

The fighter of Polish descent finished our conversation by saying that no matter where the fight ultimately ends up that he will put on a good show for the fans.
