LAS VEGAS, NV - Back in July, Manny Pacquiao scored his first knockout in nearly 9 years when he defeated Lucas Matthysse in Malaysia. With the victory Pacquiao captured the WBA welterweight title.

Pacquiao's long time trainer Freddie Roach was not in his corner for the first time in 16 years. In his place was Pacquiao's best friend and former assistant coach Buboy Fernandez. After the fight Pacquiao said how much fun it was to get a knockout and vowed to be more aggressive in the future.

Roach's absence was brief and he will be back in the Filipino Senator's corner when he faces Adrien Broner at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday. This will be Pacquiao's first fight in the United States in over 2 years.

The Hall of Fame trainer is very confident that Pacquiao will also stop Broner and has promised that Pacquiao will stay aggressive in this fight. Broner has 3 losses on his ledger but he has never been knocked out.

Broner's trainer Kevin Cunningham welcomes an aggressive Pacquiao. He said that if he fights aggressively it will play right into their hands.

"If Manny fights as aggressive as Roach is talking, he'll get knocked the fuck out. AB is the bigger, stronger, and quicker fighter," Cunningham told BoxingScene.com.
