French female featherweight Stephanie Ducastel was all set to take on Sarah Mahfoud tomorrow night in Copenhagen in one of the main events on this Danish Fight Night promotion.

However, Ducastel was a no-show at today´s weigh-in and it was later announced that she wouldn´t be fighting.

As to why she has pulled out is anyone´s guess but according to Ekstrabladet she may have had problems making the weight - or had been told by "someone" that the fight was off due to Mahfoud being too heavy. Either way she is a no show in Denmark.

There is now a frantic search for a very late substitute.

All other fighters weighed in on agreed weight. Detlef Rossing, 8-0, came in at 194 lbs while his opponent Viktor Polyakov, 13-4-1, weighed in at 183 lbs - and that difference may make a difference come fight time.

Enock Poulsen, 7-0,  141,75, take on Renald "Le Lion" Garrido, 139,75, 22-20-2 and Jeppe Morell, 8-2, 176, is in against Argentinian Ruben Eduardo Acosta, 176,75.

WBA interim cruiserweight champ Arsen Goulamirian, 23-0, defends as previously reported, on October 20 in Marseille. Univent, headed by Sebastien Acaries - and they have now announced the opponent and it will be Australian Mark Flanagan, 24-5.

Goulamiran is # 1 in the WBA rating while Flanagan is # 10.

Petitjean was also official challenger for the EBU title but has since, just like the champ Anthony Yigit, relinquished that position. Yigit is of course heading for a fight for the IBF title and a WBSS quarterfinal against Ivan Baranchyk.

EBU heavyweight champ Agit Kabayel has for some time been booked for a voluntary defence of the title on October 27 in Weissenfels on a big SES promotion. However, no opponent have been announced and according to the Swedish Federation a fight against mandatory challenger Otto Wallin could be happening sometime in November.

As for the Weissenfels show it is topped by EBU light heavy king Dominic Boesel´s defence against stablemate Enrico Koelling.
