BoxingScene.com has been advised that super lightweight prospect Maxim Dadashev will facee former champion Antonio DeMarco in the ESPN televised chief supporting bout underneath the Jose Ramirez-Antonio Orozco main event. The Save Mart Arena in Fresno, California will host the event on September 14th.

Dadashev (11-0) stopped former interim champion Darleys Perez in his most recent bout and the former amateur standout appears to be on the fast track towards a title shot. After losing three fights in a row against former champions, DeMarco (33-6-1) has won his past two bouts and will be Dadashev's most experienced foe to date.

Prior to the Dadashev-DeMarco clash, former US Olympian Jamel Herring (17-2) will face John Vincent Moralde (20-1) for the USBA super featherweight title. The fight will either open the telecast or appear on the ESPN+ app right before the televised portion of the card begins.

"We're not sure right now. If it doesn't open up on television before the co-main event then it'll be at the top of the ESPN+ part of the card," Herring told BoxingScene.com.

Herring signed with Top Rank earlier this year and made his debut with the promotional outfit on May 12th when he stopped Juan Pablo Sanchez in 5 rounds on the Vasyl Lomachenko-Jorge Linares undercard. Herring is trained by Brian "Bomac" McIntyre who also trains Terence Crawford and Steve Nelson.

He suffered a cut in the May fight which delayed his ring return but plans on being active to finish out 2018.

"I gotta get (Moralde) out of the way and then I will focus on a world title. Hopefully the opportunity comes but either way I’ll still fight one more time before the year is out," said Herring who is working his way down to 130 pounds after competing at lightweight for most of his career.
