Last month, former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury revealed that he was returning to the ring in the coming months. He may have found the opponent he was searching for.

While Fury was visiting the fitness expo FIBO in Cologne, Germany, when he was confronted by another heavyweight, Manuel Charr, who challenged him to a fight.

During the confrontation, Charr stated - "Hey Tyson, you said you want to box again, here I am, I am the number 6 in the WBA ranking, you can fight me."

And Fury responded - "I want to fight you Diamond Boy, whenever you want, though you're too small for me. When I'm back I'll fight you first, 100 percent."

Charr then took a shot at Fury's mental health issues by branding him a "mad man" - which led to Fury shoving him and the two fighters being separated by their handlers and security.

Fury has been out of the ring since shocking Wladimir Klitschko in a major upset back in November 2015. Since then, Fury battled issues with drugs, alcohol and depression. He vacated his WBA, WBO, IBO belts last fall. Two of those vacant titles will be at stake on April 29 when Klitschko faces IBF champion Anthony Joshua. And the WBO belt has since been captured by Joseph Parker.

Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) recently revealed that he's not even training in the gym and weighs well over 300 pounds, so a return in the immediate future does not appear likely.

For his part, Charr (30-4, 17 KOs), was in action twice last year and won two fights in a row since getting knocked out by current WBC cruiserweight champion Mairius Briedis in August of 2015 in Russia. Charr's last ring appearance took place in September in Germany - when he captured the WBA's International heavyweight title. Charr has been 4-3 in his last appearances in the ring.
