The return of former two division world champion Omar Narvaez (44-2-2, 23KOs) is all finalized for February 19 in Chubut, Argentina. Although Mexican fighter Martin Casillas has been mentioned as a possible opponent, in the last few hours it was Jesus 'Gazu' Vargas or Venezuela who was confirmed as the opponent.

Narvaez is preparing for only his second fight since getting knocked out in December 2014 in Tokyo by Japanese sensation Naoya Inoue.

Vargas (14-3-1, 10KOs) has won his last four bouts and saw action a whopping eight times in 2015. He turned pro in September 2013 and has been very active. The 23-year-old has a very padded record and never faced anyone even close to the experience level of Narvaez.

Narvaez turned 40 years old last year. In October he climbed back into the ring to win a ten round unanimous decision over Dominican Diego Luis Pichardo Liriano. It was a one-sided outing in the former champ's favor.

The veteran is looking to get one more title fight before he decides to hang up the gloves. In the fight with Liriano he captured t he vacant WBO International super flyweight championship, which helped his cause in the rankings. He wants a rematch with Naoya Inoue. The WBO has already said they would sanction the fight is the two sides ever pursued a second fight.
