Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Lovemore Ndou went face to face at the final press conference in Veracruz, Mexico. Both boxers were calm and confident in winning the fight, which takes place on Saturday at the ball park "Beto Ávila" in Veracruz. Canelo will stake the WBC silver junior middleweight title.

Canelo thanked everyone for massive wave of support that he received since arriving in Veracruz and he wants the public to trust his belief in a dominating victory this coming Saturday.

"I'm prepared to win, as usual," said Canelo.

Canelo is happy with his progress in 2010 and seems confident that a title shot is coming very quickly in 2011. He wished Ndou luck. The Australian promised to end Canelo's unbeaten run, for which the 20-year-old Mexican replied - "don't worry, we'll talk in the ring on Saturday night."

Oscar De La Hoya, Presidente of Golden Boy Promotions expects a very tough fight for Canelo.

"This is probably the toughest and most dangerous fight that Saul has ever faced," De La Hoya said.
