It’s been a long time coming.

The last time the BoxingScene list was updated, fans were still waiting for Floyd Mayweather to resume his career.  With a few months worth of results, plenty of debate to go around, and whispers that the biggest fight in boxing might finally be inching towards some sort of actualization, the impact of the fall can be reviewed.

Did Bernard Hopkins' ‘loss’ to Chad Dawson cost him?

Did Timothy Bradley’s win over Joel Casamayor keep him around?

And did the narrow win over Juan Manuel Marquez cost Manny Pacquiao the top spot?
