Luis Sandoval catches an unexpected meeting between middleweights Gennady Golovkin and Fernando Guerrero. Guerrero approached Golovkin in Ontario, during the Guerrero-Berto event, and requested a fight. Golovkin then spoke to BoxingScene about the possible encounter.

GGG will fight anyone from 154 to 168. He doesn't care who that is. Once he got HBO interested in televising his fights it's up to them choosing his opponent. Sure I hope it's Geale, Quillin or better yet Chaves…
