He faces Mexico's Miguel Beltran Jr. (27-1, 17 KO's) in which the winner will have the opportunity to move up in the rankings to get a shot at the unbeaten WBO champion Adrien Broner (23-0, 19 KO's).

That night, as reported by Martinez himself, former WBO 105-pound champion Ivan Calderon, will chalenge Mexico's Moses 'Moi' Fuentes - and former WBO super bantamweight king Wilfredo 'Papito' Vazquez will face two-time champion Rafael Marquez.

"There are three strong fights with Mexicans againt Puerto Ricans. Mine is an eliminator and the winner will go for the title. I'm training for this like its the fight of my life. I have to get past Beltran Jr. to go for the crown again," he said.
