Photos: Gamboa, Pascal, Dawson Las Vegas Media Day

By Chris Robinson

On Thursday afternoon, former light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal (27-2-1, 16 KO’s) could be found inside of 50 Cent’s newly-built boxing gym in Las Vegas, as he hosted the media ahead of his May 25th clash with former super middleweight titlist Lucian Bute (31-1, 24 KO’s).

Pascal faces Bute in their adopted hometown of Quebec, Canada, in an HBO-televised attraction that will serve as the city’s biggest boxing match.

Also present in the building were welterweight contender Shawn Porter, WBC light heavyweight king Chad Dawson, former featherweight titlist Yuriorkis Gamboa, respected trainer and former champ Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, and the great Roy Jones Jr., who has been assisting Pascal in camp as somewhat of a mentor.
