Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay - Mexican rivals Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, both undefeated and reigning WBC champions, went face to face at the WBC's annual convention at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The two fighters ran into each other at Monday's big WBC dinner and the two of them exchanged pleasent words and posed for pictures.

"He's not afraid of me and I don't have any fear either," said Chavez Jr., who hopes their respective promoters can reach a deal for the two of them to fight each other in 2012. The big issue in making the fight is the weight, where Chavez fights at 160-pounds, while Canelo is a junior middleweight.
