WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao has promised to finally end the ongoing rivalry with Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Their first meeting in 2004 was capped by a controversial twelve round draw, and the rematch was won by Pacquiao with a controversial split decision. Pacquiao wants to settle the ongoing debate in the trilogy fight, which takes place at 144-pounds.

For years, Marquez has been loud and clear about being the "real winner" of their first two fights. Win or lose, Pacquiao wants both fighters to accept the final outcome of the third clash.

"I really need to prove it this time, and each of us will need to accept who’s the winner, who’s the loser. This fight is very important because this will clear all doubts,” Pacquiao told ABS-CBN News. In his last fight, he knocked his opponent out in the first round. He’s still very strong. Marquez claimed he won the two fights, I simply won’t let that happen [this time]."
