Lucas Matthysse Return is Eyed For March Date

By Rick Reeno

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer advised BoxingScene.com that Lucas Matthysse's return is being targeted for a date in March. Matthysse and his team are going to sit down with Golden Boy in the next few weeks to finalize his next fight. Matthysse (34-3, 32KOs) had a mixed bag of tricks in 2013. He blew out Mike Dallas in one round in January, and then came back in May to stop IBF 140-pound champion Lamont Peterson in the third round of their non-title encounter. On September 14th, Matthysse secured his shot at WBC/WBA champion Danny Garcia, as the co-feature to Mayweather-Canelo, but saw himself fall short when Garcia outworked him for a twelve round unanimous decision win.

Wonder if Lucas will move up to 147... Nobody he can face at 140 who he won't destroy unless it's Garcia...
if Garcia don't fight Floyd, REMATCH! Lucas lost but he was hardly humbled, he can win a rematch and Peterson owes him a title shot, Lucas beat his ass nasty don't want Lucas to give up on taking over…
Do you know much about boxing? He was robbed in the Alexander and Judah fights so why list them? Are you really CJ Ross?
The Judah fight was close enough to go either way, no robbery at all there.
