Wynn Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada - BoxingScene.com caught up with WBO featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (4-1) who faces Romulo Koasicha (25-4) in the HBO televised co-feature underneath the Tim Bradley-Brandon Rios main event. The fights take place at the Thomas and Mack Center just off the Las Vegas strip.

Lomachenko is regarded by many as the top fighter in the division but he has had trouble luring other elite featherweights into the ring.  With the other three major title holders fighting under the PBC banner, it doesn't seem likely the Ukrainian will be able to unify titles anytime soon.

That being said, Lomachenko isn't looking to move up in weight quite yet.

"My goal is still to clean up the 126 pound division.  We need to talk to Lee Selby and Gary Russell and (Jesus) Cuellar to get with me and we can fight. Then I will go to 130. Gary Russell said that he can beat me 99 times out of 100 but where is he?  Why isn't he fighting me? After Lee Selby beat (Evgany) Gradovich, he told my manager that he wants to fight me but where is he?  My goal is to unify the division and then move up," Lomachenko stated.

Lomachenko feels that the other champions are just blowing hot air and aren't serious about fighting him.

"I don't know why they just talk. I can talk too and say that I want to fight Pacquiao and Mayweather and I know it isn't going to happen. They are just hiding behind their managers and promoters and not coming to fight me. When I say something I mean it. I don't just talk to talk. I am sending a message to these guys. Either do what you say or close your mouth and shut the f*** up. I am ready to fight. Do what you say and come to fight," Lomachenko told BoxingScene.com.
