Motivated by the sight of Jarrell Miller losing his hair in New York, Matt Christie uses first-hand experience and examples to show "Big Baby" it's okay to embrace baldness.

Marvelous Marvin Hagler enjoyed a far more favorable showing than was the case the last time he played Las Vegas. The former World middleweight champion came up big in the quarterfinal round of the eWBSS (World Boxing Super Series) Middleweight Legends tournament, blasting out a determined Kelly Pavlik in eight rounds Tuesday afternoon at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

When he reigned over the middleweight division from 2007 to 2010, Kelly Pavlik was lauded for being an old school, throwback kind of fighter. So it may come as a shock that seven years after his final fight, he has turned into someone embracing modern technology to teach a new generation how to fight and stay in shape.

FORMER world middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik remains content that he has fought for the last time. “I promised my kids at a young age and my wife that I would be done. They wanted me done shortly after I won the title,” said the Youngstown star. “I get the itch here and there but not enough to go back there. When does enough become enough,” he asked.

Former Olympian Lenin Castillo (17-1-1, 12 KO’s) from the Dominican Republic has signed with new Puerto Rican management company, Spartan Boxing Club, on his mission to be part of the big stages in boxing.

Former WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (40-2) hit a low point in his career when he lost an unanimous decision to Sergio Martinez in April 20, 2010. Pavlik floored Martinez in the fight but was unable to overcome cuts over both of his eyes. The loss was the second and last of his career. His only other loss was to future Hall of Fame member Bernard Hopkins in a bout contested at a 170 pound catch-weight.

Beating Jermain Taylor twice in back to back fights put Kelly Pavlik on the map in the boxing world. Both fighters went their separate ways after the fight and both have had their share of out of the ring incidents. Taylor, 38, a former Olympian, faces three charges, including a felony charge of terrorist threats after a Maumelle police officer wrote in a report obtained by USA TODAY Sports that Taylor "chased (the alleged victim) down the street stating that he would to kill her."

Former middleweight champion Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik was in Las Vegas last month for the middleweight mega-fight between Canelo Alvarez and WBC/WBA/IBF/IBO world champion Gennady Golovkin. The fight was very entertaining and ended in a twelve round split draw at the T-Mobile Arena. Pavlik covered the fight for his new boxing podcast, 'The Punchline,' and was very respectful of both fighters but feels that this era of middleweights doesn't stack up with his era.
