Las Vegas, Nevada - Mexican star Jorge Arce said he is ready to unseat the super bantamweight world champion of the WBO, Wilfredo "Papito" Vazquez Jr. of Puerto Rico, and predicted a knockout win to make history. Arce faces the unbeaten Vazquez Jr. (20-0-1, 17 KOs), on the May 7 Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley undercard at the MGM Grand.

"They don't think I have a good chance to win, but I will prove the experts wrong and I will knock him out. At bantamweight I feel very strong and I did not kill myself with a diet, which worked well for my strength and I'm ready to step into the ring and beat Vazquez before the twelve round distance."
