Shrine Exposition Center, Los Angeles - Hot welterweight prospect Eimantas Stanionis (12-0, 9 KOs) dropped Janer Gonzalez (19-4-1, 15 KOs) three times before the contest was waved off in the ninth round.

Eimantis Stanionis looks to make up for lost time while preparing for a breakout campaign in the year ahead. The unbeaten welterweight prospect will headline the final Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on FS1 telecast, facing Janer Gonzalez in a scheduled 10-round contest. Both boxers made weight for the main event, which will air live from Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles.

Rising welterweight contender Eimantas Stanionis will battle Colombia's Janer Gonzalez in the 10-round main event of FS1 PBC Fight Night and on FOX Deportes Wednesday, December 16 from Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

Unbeaten heavyweight prospect Junior Fa looks to continue his ascension in the pro ranks. The 30-year old New Zealander plays stateside for the third straight time, as he faces 2004 U.S. Olympian Devin Vargas in a scheduled 10-round bout Friday evening at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Minneapolis-native Jamal James (25-1, 12 KOs) scored a crowd-pleasing technical knockout win over Janer Gonzalez (19-2-1, 15 KOs). Midway through the sixth stanza, James appeared to drop Gonzalez with a straight overhand right, but referee Gary Miezwa declared it a slippage.

Jamal James sent his hometown crowd into a frenzy again Saturday night. James knocked down Janer Gonzalez in the sixth round and beat him by technical knockout because Gonzalez declined to answer the bell for the seventh round at The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The 30-year-old James (25-1, 12 KOs) knocked down Gonzalez with a right uppercut during the sixth round, which discouraged Gonzalez from continuing between rounds.

Janer Gonzalez made Radzhab Butaev work for every bit of his victory in their eight-round welterweight fight Friday night. The busier Butaev out-pointed Gonzalez, but had to be wary of Gonzalez’s power on his way to winning a unanimous decision (80-72, 79-73, 77-75). Russia’s Butaev used his hand speed to pot shot Colombia’s Gonzalez and moved out of harm’s way most of the time before Gonzalez could connect with counter shots in a largely unremarkable bout.
