According to the World Boxing Organization, a deal has been reached for a cruiserweight bout between WBO champion Marco Huck and mandatory challenger Ola Afolabi. The WBO annnounced that a scheduled purse bid was canceled by the promoters. Huck (34-2, 25 KOs) will face Afolabi (19-2, 9 KOs) on May 5th in Erfurt, Germany. They previously fought in December 2009, with Huck winning a close twelve round decision. This will be Huck's return to cruiserweight after moving up to heavyweight in February and losing a controversial majority decision to "regular" WBA champion Alexander Povetkin.
