Evander Holyfield Knocks Brian Nielsen Out in Denmark
Copenhagen, Denmark - Former four time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield (44-10-2, 29KOs) stopped Brian Nielsien (63-3, 43KOs) in the tenth round of the fight at Koncerthuset. Holyfield pushed Nielsen into a corner and battered him with combinations until the referee stopped the contest. Nielsen was fighting for the first time since 2002. The output of Holyfield was more fresher and much better than his previous ring outing against Sherman Williams in January, where the 48-year-old Holyfield took some punishment. The 46-year-old Nielsen will likely head back into retirement.

It´s not New York or LA where international superstars meet these days. On Friday night, living boxing legend Evander Holyfield and star singer Justin Bieber caught up in Herning, Denmark. The four-time world heavyweight champion was in town to attend Saturday´s TV2 Fight Night and promote his upcoming legends-of-the-ring clash with Brian Nielsen in Copenhagen on May 7, while Bieber gave a concert in front of a sell-out crowd at the brand-new Jyske Bank BOXEN. The 17-year-old has most recently done a sparring session with WBA Heavyweight Champion David Haye in London. Bieber was excited to meet “The Real Deal” and had a skateboard and gloves signed. “It was great to meet Justin Bieber,” Holyfield said. “My kids would have loved this, too. I can´t wait to show them the pictures and tell them about it.”

Evander Holyfield vs Brian Nielsen Pushed Back to May 7
The hotly-anticipated “Legends of the Ring” showdown between Brian Nielsen (64-2, 43 KOs) and Evander Holyfield (43-10, 28 KOs) has been moved back to May 7. The two heavyweight superstars were to battle it out at DR´s Koncerthuset on March 5 but will now lock horns two months later because a cut injury has kept “The Real Deal” out of practice longer than originally anticipated. In his last fight on January 22, Holyfield was cut above his left eye following a headbutt from Sherman “The Tank” Williams.
