The referee and judges for this Saturday nights showdown between middleweight champion, Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs), and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) were announced on Monday.

And promoter Tom Loeffler, who represents Golovkin, says he has no issues with referee Kenny Bayless or the three appointed judges (Don Trella, Dave Moretti and Adelaide Byrd).

"I think Kenny Bayless has proven he's one of the best referee's in the world and we're satisfied with the judges," he said on Tuesday afternoon after both boxers made their grand arrivals to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"Gennady is going to bring his own two judges with him that were responsible for 23 knockouts in a row and I think this fight - even though it's going to be very competitive - with the big punches Gennady is going to land, I don't think it's going to be hard to score a fight whee there might be some close rounds.

"I think Gennady is going to land the most punishing blows."

Loeffler added,''We didn't have any objections to these officials that were selected, not from our side."

Golovkin and Alvarez tangle at the T-Mobile Arena and the fight is distributed by HBO Pay-Per-View.
