Gennady Golovkin-Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam Back in Talks?
By Ruslan Chikov
There are rumors coming out of Germany that middleweights Gennady Golovkin and Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam are once again negotiating a possible fight. Golovkin (22-0, 19 KOs) is the WBA's "regular" champion at 160, while N'Jikam (26-0, 17 KOs) is the WBA's interim-champion in the same division. The fight is being rumored to occur in April. The WBA has been trying to clean up their rankings at 160-pounds for a very long time, but none of the three champions have been able to reach a deal to fight each other. Felix Sturm is third beltholder at 160 for the WBA, recognized as their "super champion."
How retarded is it that the WBA has 3 "champions" at 160? Worst governing body out there.Comment by Galeke on 01-11-2012
Look forward to see this great fight! To me it is more better and interesting than with Felix Sturm.Comment by rey guey on 01-11-2012
