How come tyson could knock down sanders but he couldnt knock out mcbride

Sanders has a pretty good chin and tyson was able to knock him down and he could of knocked him out many times but for the fact that he held sanders up anytime he buckled sanders legs with a shot. How come against the weak chinned mcbride tysons punches had no effect . i mean against sanders tyson hit him with shots that damn near knocked his head off but against mcbride tyson couldnt even hurt him with his shots. Where was tysons power against mcbride?.

I dunno but it sure proves that headgear doesn't save you from getting knocked out or knocked out.

I alwasy thought that it was there to prevent you from cuts.
I mean when they hit you in the headgear, it sitll hurts.

Exactly but there's people on this forum who actually think headgear will prevent a knockdown or knockout and that if you get knocked down while wearing headgear you have to have a glass chin.

What sanders chin like? . Has he been knocked much in his professional career. You have to admit tysons power was awesome against sanders but against mcbride it looked like he was hitting mcbride with a feather duster. I just cant understand it .

Tyson himself said it was more of a push than from a punch.
