"Fights need to be fought on an even playing field"

Remember when this was the mantra for about five years? I do. Its all a certain segment of fans wanted to talk about. That, and "boxing is a business".

Two phrases that littered these boards daily. Its funny how those phrases are now coming back to bite those same posters right in their dusty culos.

These same pendejos want this one guy, to put himself at a disadvantage, so that he can "fight someone with a name". But wait.

How is that an even playing field? These same people, will claim that Manny Pacquiao didn't beat Cotto at his best, because "Cotto was weigth drained". They said it wasn't fair that Cotto had to come in less than his absolute best.

So why do they want "Little G", as they say, (lol, such an unoriginal bunch, that they latch onto these corny names only when their favorite fighters say it.) to be a part of a fight that would be on an uneven playing field? According to them, hes overrated, fights only bums, is slow, can't cut off the ring, etc, etc. So if hes this bad, why the need to tilt the favor in canelos favor? The same canelo who is actually bigger.

On to my second question. If boxing is a business, why do they keep bringing up ward? Hes a nobody on the grand scale. Hes not a big name, and has no value. He doesn't even sell out his hometown. Even worse, is bringing up Lara. If boxing is a business, why do these same fans, keep crying that "Little G" is getting step aside money? Hes getting paid to do absolutely nothing! How is that wrong? How is that wrong when the only goal according to them, is to make money? They should be praising GGG for basically doing what no other boxer in history has done before, become the champion of his division, just by his reputation for destruction in the ring. Martinez didn't want it. Sturm didn't want it. Cotto didn't want it. Canelo doesn't want it. Dude has gotten paid just for scaring the schit out of these "champions". Thats the best possible business in boxing, for the least amount of risk, which is what they love so much about boxing in the first place. "Boxing is about hit, not get hit". Gennady gets paid, and doesn't get hit once. How can they not love that?

These crybabies don't know what they want anymore.

Why is GGG a hypocrite? Are you capable of putting forth a reasonable argument to support your claims for once?

Ridiculing Canelo for CW's when he's asked for a CW himself.

Saying Pacquiao and Khan are too small for Canelo, but then calling out a WW himself in Mayweather.

Calling Canelo a businessman not a fighter, when he himself is willing to move up and fight Froch at 168 but not Ward or down for Mayweather not Canelo because they make more money.

            That's 3 reasons right there.

                    Lol, nice.

Went to give it a fair read but every sentence was packed with so much bitterness, bytching, and anger that I just skipped to the responses instead.
