Kovalev by KO. Easy work. Ward will have no answer for Kovalev's incredible left jab and two handed punching power. Say goodnight, Son Of God.

      Got to ride with Ward.

People picking Kov have every right to feel confident with the pick.

      Guy is a monster.

I edge Ward, but it's a very competitive matchup.

Kovalev... Based primeraly off Wards inactivity. Kovalev has the tools to beat, period but as of now Kovalev would toy with Ward.

If Ward were to have another year to get perpared fighting lesser opposition Pascal or Bute... Then fight Kovalev, it would be much closer but from what I've seen from Kovalev is he has no issue cutting off the ring when he deem it necessary. Kovalev inside game is the only place I believe Ward could have the advantage.

Also the place of the event is obviously huge! If in hostile territory, Ward by Unanimous Decision or Kovalev by KO. If in neutral territory; I see 3 outcomes Ward by SD, Draw or Kovalev by KO.

I believe either way Kovalev would most likely KO Ward in the later rounds or by stoppage. Ward is great by his lack of real speed and power will not suit him well against a well rounded boxer and puncher a Kovalev.

Well Ward will try to make it an ugly grapplefest. Just think Kovalev is skilled enough to step back when Ward lunges in to grab and catch him with an uppercut. Also Ward doesnt have the power to keep Kovalev off him. Gotta go with Kovalev.

Kovalev will hurt him eventually. Ward was hanging on to bika for the whole 12th round in their fight and bika can't even throw a straight punch.

Sergey, but Ward wont fight him just now.

                    i got kovalev

                    1. he has a significant strength and power advantage
                    2. his hands and feet are deceptively fast
                    3. he has an excellent command of range
                    4. he can throw all sorts of punches and disguise them well
                    5. he is intelligent and can adapt his gameplan on the fly
                    6. ward likely cannot hurt him

i mean i won't rule ward out against anybody because he's a brilliant boxer, but i don't see him eluding all of kovalev's shots all night
