Since May 2nd i have seen posters who lived and died by compubox now discredit it..They used it to say Floyd lost to Castillo,used it to say Manny beat Jmm in the 2nd and 3rd fight..but now all the sudden it does not apply? So is it valid or not valid?

It has a 3% confidence limit. Punch stats do not tell the story of a fight so you can't judge the outcome of a fight on it. For example, I was watching Pirog-Jacobs the other day and Pirog won the round throwing and landing less. That mofo was slick af and he was white.Comment

Dear Larry, in the world we live in there are so many intangibles, so many grey areas, such moral ambiguity...."every man for himself" they say and in the very next breath "No man is an island."
But with compubox there is none of these concerns what-so-ever....Just as Vietnam was dicey but Stalin and Hitler were evil....COMPUBOX is crap! It is a disservice and has effected the strategy of many fighters who could throw punches and hit the wind for all the button pushers care...speaking of which, why not at least three button pushers? and not one? because compubox is a tool and it is destroying boxing. How does one measure the subtleties of slipping a punch when all the opponent has to do is keep throwing the same punches whether they land or not.
If compubox prevails we may as well take the two fighters and have them throw punches in the corner rather than at each other.Comment
