Yeah. It's not like there's a massive gulf in class between Sr. and Jr.

It's not this impenetrable defense everyone makes it out to be. I don't get why I'm seeing it more and more. It works for Mayweather because his family used it for years before teaching it to him, letting him figure it out or learn it's mistakes and such.

Shoulder roll or not. He's still a magnificent fighter. Earlier in his career he wasn't as shoulder roll heavy but when people wanted more boxing and less knockouts, he changed it up. Or so I think.

In regards to the thread. It really depends who you're fighting but if we're generally speaking. The left hook, left hook-overhand right, left uppercut are all viable if you can set them up properly. A strategy that works well with it is stepping outside of the lead foot and stepping back in then landing one of the previously mentioned punches.

Vs Broner, you can see Maidana doing double jab to enter, left hook to the body, head, then overhand right. Though he wasn't hitting from an angle, it was straight forward. This mainly worked because Broner fights in the shoulder roll Squared up which defeats the freaking point of the stance altogether.

I don't really know if this is the case with the Castillo, DLH or Cotto fight for Mayweather. I was fearful that Cotto's left hook was going to be Mayweather's biggest problem. Sadly, I don't think Cotto used it enough.

I think another good demonstration is Jones vs Toney.

And if you watch broner vs maidana you can also pick up a few tricks on how to penetrate the shoulder roll but I also think it's important to smother shoulder rollers so that they can't get off first

SRL was a superior boxer than Pacquiao, and he has a higher boxing IQ. Mayweather would beat MP via UD.

                  Right uppercut is the punch.

Lol you're slowly but surely becoming one of the worst posters on here. No duh it's not an invincible defense. But was Floyd sr even a world champion? But I guess whatever helps you sleep at night thinking PAC is smart enough to beat floyd
