Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios Predictions & Info

BoxingScene Pacquiao vs Rios News Archive

    Saturday Nov. 23, 9pm ET/6pm PT on HBO Pay-Per-View

This thread will continually be bumped as new video & info emerges.

What are your thoughts and predictions and general consensus of the fight?

How do you feel about Pacquiao insisting on there being random drug testing for this fight?

Do you feel Pacquiao's chin is "cracked" and will no longer be the same as before?

Pacquiao stops him. And they are probably scared of Memo now so they got the testing lol

      1. Pacquiao's going to push Rios' **** in.

      2. Good for Pac. It's obviously a tactic to lure in Floyd, although we already know Floyd doesn't want none.

      3. His chins probably cracked after the JMM fight, but I think he'll be more defensively responsible, and a cracked chin for Pacquiao is still better than 95% of the boxers out there.

I think Pacquiao will be careful in this fight, but still aggressive enough to put a real beating on Rios. Rios might be stopped by cuts, if not KO'd in the mid to late rounds. I don't expect Rios to hurt Pac any time in the fight.

I don't think Rios will land much on Pacquiao either, but I'm visualizing a versatile Pacquiao, not one that is coming off of a vicious KO. So I really don't know what Pacquiao will have to offer, Rios isn't exactly hard to hit even if Pacquiao where indeed "shot". When Rios does land flush, those are hard blows though.

Pacquiao via murder. I'm a big Rios fan..... but i'm not biased or blinded by nationalism like many of the posters here.

If you look hard enough it looks risky on paper but I fully expect Pac to look a million dollars in this fight.

Rios is totally made for Pacquaio.
I won't be surprised to see him get Hattoned here!

How old is Rios like 28? I worry for his healths sake in years to come hes already showing early signs of brain damage.

rios is one dimensional and if pac has anything left he should win easily

memo has pac and roach shook, thats the only reason why theyre testing, has nothing to do with a floyd fight

time will tell if he has amir khan syndrome

This is very possible. Rios will throw no matter what and if he connects on pacs chin nobody knows how pac will react. I think this wont be a walk in the park for pac. Anybody who gets ko'ed the way pac did will never be the same.
