As I said in my previous response to this idea, I'm glad you took a very unbiased position in this debate. With so many posters having clear agendas, it's good to have BoxingGenius running around NSB writing solid posts.

Yup.. I thought such a blatant headbutt would be an immediate DQ.

Like people have said, Vic was trying to get out of the fight. When he didnt get DQ'd, his only way to get out of the fight at that point was to let himself get KO'd.

Considering the fact that Cortez warned Ortiz about using his head numerous times before, what are you talking about?

Had Ortiz cut, knocked Mayweather's teeth out, or KO'd him with the headbutt, Ortiz's punishment would be much more severe.
