This is what pisses me off most, this **** makes it seem like the police department. Instead of getting fired for a terrible injustice, you get suspended and demoted. In boxing, you'll only get demoted.

There was no way Martinez was winning the Williams fight on his scorecard unless he knocked him down in 7 rounds. That old **** should not be judging anything except how much ben gay he should be putting on his old ass.

there should be age limits imposed for judges. in britain they have mandatory retirement for referees right?

its just a physical & mental handicap to be judging fights when you are in your late 60s. There's no denying that your mental faculties slow down with age. how do you expect to judge a boxing fight where fighters are throwing punches in bunches in different angles?

it goes for all sports across the board.

Figured I would bump this, How is this guy still Judging? Look at his boxrec, seems he has a nice stable job. Is it possible to be fired as a judge? How many times can you screw up fights and have total opposite scorecards?

This is why boxing is going down the drain because of old senile idiots like this dude who ruin peoples careers while he keeps judging.
