Well Cotto and Pacquiao are camer shy. They dont engage in war of trash talk or do something offensive or interesting. Their personalities are very ordinary, they dont act like celebrities. I concur with many that Mayweather does a betetr job in 24/7, but Mayweather's character is that of a celebrity and a businessmen, Pacquiao and Cotto to me are just there to fight.
Yeah it wasn't that good. With all the stuff going on in Pacquiao's camp, and natural disasters going on in the Filipines, you would think they would have some interesting material for the show. I was more entertained by the Cotto segments, talking about his family, tatoos, and even his fat friend doing belly flops were better than than watching Pacquiao. If ratings start to drop, don't be surprised if you see a rendition of "2 fighters, 1 cup", LOL. They gotta do something to get casual fans and mainstream america interested in this fight.
It was boring but I do enjoy seeing Cotto's wife. Also, I think it is disrespectful to Pac because they don't use subtitles with Cotto but their english skills are almost exactly the same. I guess like I said before we were spoiled from all that urine drinking and trash talking that went on in the previous 24/7.
yea i think the whole season will kinda be like that, this will be worst than the calzaghe-jones 24/7, its just not as entertaining whenn you have 2 guys from foreign places who are quiet, and the personalities around them arnt that interesting, but the fight will be great!
