  • Poll: Prime Jones vs...............?

This is a poll to see how many Jones haters there are on here. There seems to be allot. Lets clear some things up.

Does Prime Roy beat Johnson and Calzaghe? We already established he beats Tarver since he beat him while severely faded. (Jones-Tarver I)

Give an honest, non biased opinion and there will be several options to choose from.

Hell No! Jones would have won even if they represented tough fights.

Yes, both still would have beat Jones just as they did in 2004 and 2008.

I think he would've beaten both of them but they would've been tough fights even in his prime.

Calzaghe would've presented a tougher fight than Johnson, IMO. Hopkins laid the blueprint on how to beat Glen, and that was prime-undefeated Glenn. Jones still beats both of them, though.

Thanks for being the first to reply. The poll is up now. Please participate.

What do you think about the news that Ali was 1/16th white?(Irishman)

That's some trippy stuff. I didn't even know that and neither did he until like 2002. I wonder had he known, if it would have changed his views in his influential ****** years? I have to think it would have.

Yea, no doubt in my mind he beats them both and there is definitely something to be said for Hopkins being the only guy to ever really deliver a true blowout against Johnson. Think about how Prime Roy would have handled him in 1997. It would have been a massacre in my opinion.

Yea, thanks allot for being honest.

We both know prime Jones would not have been a sitting duck on the ropes for Joe, and that would have made all the difference in the world.

Mangler Jr, the Johnson that was executed by Hopkins was green and untested.

And to answer poll. Old, past prime Roy knocked down Calzaghe, and went 9 rounds with a way more dangerous Johnson than what he was in his so called "prime".

Jones most likely clown them both to a decision, in his prime.
