  • Both Chavez are FAKE!!!

    Chavez Jr :

    so far: won 37 (KO 29) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 1 = 38 tomatoes cans

    1. He fought Carlos Molina (who is a not a good boxer) and got an undeserved draw
No scorecards were read as the fight was announced as a draw. When both fighters raised their hands towards the crowd, Molina received cheers while the crowd favorite Chavez was booed. They did fought a second time an somehow Chaves Jr. got a majority decision

He fought another nobody call Matt Vanda (another name we have never heard off before fithing Chavez Jr.) and Jr. got an undeserved SD and once again Chavez was booed by the crowd.

    2. He has been featured fighting extremely weak opposition on the undercards of many major pay-per-view fights which is rare for an up-and-coming fighter, but not unexpected in his case given his father's fame!

    3. How come someone have “over 30 fights won with no losses” and hasn’t fought yet for a title or even been consider among the top ten not even a top 25. He hasn’t even fought any of the top 10 boxers in his weight class. I know he didn’t had a amateur career and that’s the excuse to fight weak opposition as a PRO but with “over 30 fights won with no losses” he should be willing and able to fight an average boxer or else he don’t belong in the PRO’s

his handlers are milking his famous family name while padding his record against a series of no-hopers an some have made him look bad!

He had no amateur career dummy. Have you ever heard of "building" some one up? they will get him the good fights later on but I dont think he is going to beat the top fighters out there. He will never be like his father.

      Chavez Sr:

He won 107 (KO 86) + lost 6 (KO 4) + drawn 2 = 115 fights, Of all of those fights he only fought 3 respectable boxers and he lost those fights:

      1. He got an undeserved draw with Whitaker

Chavez showed signs of fatigue throughout the fight and had difficulty cutting off the ring and catching Whitaker. In addition, Chavez's punch output dropped severely. Furthermore, Chavez world famous inside game was ineffective as Whitaker, not known for his inside game, was beating Chavez in the inside exchanges. Whitaker was not known for his punching power but did stun Chavez a few times in the fight with hard left hands. The fight was held in front of thousands of Chavez supporters in San Antonio but even they became dead silent as they started to see Whitaker take force and dominate Chavez with little trouble. Before the scorecards were announced the Showtime television commentators were in unanimous agreement that Whitaker had won the bout and didn't even consider it to be a close contest. Just later, the scorecards were announced and the fight was declared a draw. This prompted some boos even among some of Chavez fans as they recognized that Whitaker was the true winner of the contest. Several members of the media, such as The Ring magazine and Sports Illustrated were disgusted with the decision. Later on several journalists complained of the fact that the WBC appointed the judges to the fight rather then the independent Texas Boxing & Wrestling Program. This promoted widespread calls of corruption for the world titles to banish this practice; however nothing was done

      2. He lost to Oscar De La Hoya by KO twice. The first fight in round 4 and the second fight in round 8
      3. He lost to Kostya Tszyu by KO in round 6

Who had he ever beaten that was a legit fighther??? Chavez got famous by his paddle record not for a win on anybody!!! lol

Like I said Before I know he didn’t had a amateur career and that’s the excuse to fight weak opposition as a PRO but with “over 30 fights won with no losses” he should be willing and able to fight an average boxer or else he don’t belong in the PRO’s.

And Chavez Sr. was a joke too!

He punished Rosario who was a puerto rican great, how does that make you feel?

Chavez fought some very good fighters, although he lost some fight near the end of his career. You trying to discredit his career is ridiculous. Chavez jr. doesn't have the talent to come even close thogh.

Chavez was a really good exciting fighter. Albeit his wins were grossly inflated with bums but it kept him active between bigger fights.

I do agree with you on the Whittaker issue though. However Chavez was clearly on the downslope of his career when he lost to DLH and Tzu.

He also beat the **** out of Camacho and Rosario two very good boxers although I think Taylor was robbed by Steele.
