So... Could Joe Calzaghe Ever Claim a Heavyweight Title?

Well could he do it? Even in his prime? Even against a John Ruiz? And then Come back down to LHW and reclaim that throne?

Im just curious as to what the people who compare them equally in their primes, will say to this...

And also brush off Roys win as (easy) because... oh.. well it was John Ruiz.

          joe is too old
ill be surprised if he gets a title at cruiserweight
but give the man his dues he currently dominates 2 boxing classes at the same time no one is more dominant than this man currently

I don't think he could. Roy is a once in a lifetime fighter, not many could do what he did.

Prime versus Prime, Jones beats Calzaghe.

With that said, this thread is a bit off. I mean, Glen Johnson, Montell Griffin and Antonio Tarver probably couldn't win at heavy either but all three have a W over Jones.
