          • The Wlad loss has really re-energised Povetkin. He's flying at the moment - great opponent in Perez.

              • Goodness Ruiz is awful. He "punches" (although the mits are usually moving toward his hands much more than vice versa) for 30 seconds and then drops his hands and walks around like he's out for a stroll in the park to catch his breath, then does it again. I guess his opponents are supposed to just allow him to do this?

They should not allow him to fight until he is under 250.

No way in hell he should have that much fat as a professional boxer.

                  • If you were to put Andy Ruiz in the ring with Anthony Joshua instead of Kevin Johnson on Jan 31st, AJ would have Ruiz seeing stars.

Andy has an ability to tag his opponents,Kingpin has not.although the inevitable conclusion would likely be the same,a Ruiz fight would be a hundred fold more entertaining.Kingpin turns up to survive,he prides himself on being a non entity in competitive fights.he has only been considered for Joshua for this reason alone,Ruiz is far too dangerous an opponent to be considered at this stage.
