Agreed Boss. Although, I don't see why a guy in a sport where you can still make 7 figures if you become one of the best would want to go to a sport where you make in the low 5 figures to start and maybe 6 if you're a top name. Doesn't make sense to me. That's like that prodigy show I saw on Youtube where they showed this kid Reshat Mati who trains and competes in NY and New Jersey in MMA, kickboxing and boxing. As popular as MMA is, boxing is where you can still make the biggest money of those 3. Surprising to me that more fighters don't make millions per fight these days yet. Maybe there should be some kind of union or fighters association. Anybody see that ESPN report on UFC fighter pay? They talked about this more in depth.

yeah but you can take mma at any age and with 2 or 3 years training you could be succesfull, boxing needs to be your llife and takes years to perfect your craft to even get a shot at being on tv
shot fighters like wolak and vic were looking to get into mma because they knew with 1 or 2 years of wrestling experience they could make it.

His Boxing style won't transition too well in MMA tbh, it makes him vulnerable to takedowns. Unless he obviously adapts and changes it. He has wrestled before in school and if he trains at a wrestling specialist gym like AKA theres no doubt he can beat people of name.

Being a great boxer is important, but you need to be well rounded these days.

Speaking of athletes wanting to join the UFC, I heard Herschel Walker wanted to fight one more time and for the UFC. Do you think that would happen? I wouldn't mind seeing it.

On the feet he would instantly be the best striker in the business if he has takedown defense he walks through divisions.

We can't be sure though. In boxing, your focus is on punches while in MMA you have to consider other things.

I don't think Berto's offense would be as effective.

His cardio would be his downfall. Not to mention, once you start grappling, and blood fills up your arms, you're not the same striker. That's why having kicks is important.
