Whatever comes naturally. If you haven't been trained and I'm assuming you haven't fought before then which hand in front is the least of your worries. I've never been in a street fight where I was jabbing on the outside anyways. Step around him when the first punch comes in and throw a hard shots to the body until he's on the ground. You'll take him down and won't have to worry about messing up your hands.
