If Dillon had been black and the cop white, wouldn't the national media have made it into a major news story?

Would they nationally televise the funeral of Dillon, like they did of Brown?

It may have gotten more media attention because of what's been going on recently , but there have also been dozens of black men shot by the police that have not got any (or nearly as much) media attention. Obviously an entire city protesting is going to cause a major media story.

You have to understand what's happening in ferguson isn't just about one guy, it's about the history of police oppression that has been going on for years and this case set things off to a boiling point. Again, if Utah had the same history the outrage would be more, but Utah isn't Missouri.

The location is irrelevant. If Taylor was black instead of white, this would have been a story on the same level as Travon and Michael Brown. Utah, Ferguson, or f**king Anchorage Alaska. Don't matter. Only thing that the media is looking for is was the cop white and the victim black. That's where the ratings are at. This isn't CNN or MSNBC or who the f**k ever rushing to the aid of the black race because they're so concerned about police brutality against black americans. Men rape more women than women rape women. So if a woman was to rape another woman, it's not going to get that much attention because it's not a national problem.

Black cops killing white kids unjustly isn't a national problem. White cops killing young black men is.

Silly to try and turn things around like this. When black cops start killing white kids at the same level, then we will see an outrage. Before that, stories like this are anomalies.
