You don't need to clinch him on the inside because he doesn't have an inside game. IF a fighter gets within his range, he'll likely be the one to tie up. Lemieux has heavy and terrible feet in addition to no jab so he had not option but to get picked off at range round by round.

OH, and Lemieux has T-rex arms and was 3 inches shorter.

Quick hands, quick feet, good chin and some real heart. Everyone GGG hash it has stayed hit, not just physically but mentally too. They have to be able to go into the fire, throw punch for punch and not back off. That's the only way someone is beating GGG.

Beating GGG in the amateurs was definitely possibly but is there anyone who can take a gameplan to him for 12 rounds without being hurt, I'm not sure.
Easy carrying out a plan for a couple of rounds like Cleverly showed but down the stretch is where it will tell so absolutely that heart and amazing conditioning would need to be all included with a perfect gameplan.

Nobody at 160 can beat him. He is so good that guys need to come up with mythical boxers with the abilities to beat him. No active 160 pounder stands much of a chance of beating him or even remain standing at the final bell. GGG is great and I just want to enjoy watching him fight. I don't want to make up an imaginary boxer to beat him. Old age is his hardest opponent to beat. Even GGG can't KO old age.

Who can beat anyone? Probably the top guy in the next division.

We have weight classes for a reason folks.
WTF?? Somebody on boxingscene with a brain? Well alright!

SRR probably would have beaten GGG. He was a god, could do it all. MAYBE. Remember Ray lost some MB fights. He was pretty old by then.

We never saw Hagler get hurt, at least not after his first few fights. It's hard to imagine GGG not getting cut up pretty good against Marvelous Marvin.

Point being, that's the level of historical MW you have to find to beat Golovkin. Not that many.

Quick guys with reach, range, chin, power...brains.

I think Ward will if they fight & I feel like Canelo is the #2 guy on the list of guys likely to beat GGG.

Just in generalizations I'd say a crafty guy with some pop will be the most ideal type to beat GGG. Willie Monroe with a punch pretty much.

                    Isn't DL 5-9.5 with a 70 inch reach?

GGG is 5-10.5 with a 70 inch reach...

You seem to have the biggest reach of them all with your made up stories
