Evander seemed to do that a lot in his later fights, when he started to slow down. Referees should have called and put a stop to this. No justification for biting though. Mike could have butted back or even threw some low blows and let Holyfield know he wasn't putting up with that crap those ways. I've heard Pep/Saddler fights were foul fests as well.
