Booth has always seemed like a decent guy.

I dont want to hear anymore excuses and talk of retirement from Haye. He is too young and too talented. He needs to get back in the gym, grit his teeth, improve, KO some fat HW bums and get back into a mandatory position. He could earn himself another shot at Wlad in a year or two and gain the respect back of all the fans he has lost. If he works hard to get another shot he def has the skills to beat Wlad, he just needs to apply himself.

He is still the 3rd best HW in the game.

He doesnt come from a boxing background, yet has helped Groves and Haye win titles against the odds. He also has some pretty out of the box ideas in all areas like training, negotiating etc. I have to give the guy credit as im sure lots of sharks were out to eat him but he's done OK in my book. Credit where credit is due and I give him credit.
        Agreed

thats because Booth is not only his trainer he is also his business partner, Booth planned on making money from Hayes media career, television, movie work etc...now thats all been thrown in turmoil

its a good thing, because Haye can now carry on boxing for another 3-4 fights and also get rid of Booth as his trainer

Also it was Booth who was talking about "slave contracts", but beggers cant be choosers like Haye said yesterday.

Booth doesnt want a rematch if there isnt 50/50 on the table, the guys a moron

I don't think he "has pride and self respect and wants to save his career". He's a rat who is desertignthre sinking ship, and who already had his platitudes prepared for after the fight, because he KNEW, that haye had no chance against Klitschko. But the two frauds and charlatans feathered their nests with the filched ill gotten gains from the pockets of poor deluded British fans whom they had set out to rob.

It's obvious that Haye won't ever get any better, he's only really a novice beginner and so full of self conceit that he will NOT go through the tough apprenticeship that ALL good fighters go through.

Not for ME....I'M SPECIAL......... that's why he has the colossal gall and chutzpah to expect a return right away or a fight with VK within the next 3 months or ."... I'll retire and you'll all be sorry, so you will.......?

Lets talk about other more interesting things. We've had an overflow of Hayegarbage.

Booth a "decent guy"...? The whole plot to push Haye to his maximum advantage at the expense of the deluded public came from Booth's fertile brain. Haye himself is not smart enough to be a major part of this plan. He did the public appearances and the boxing, but Booth was the master planner. The whole thing "stinks of Booth".

Whilst making them both wealthy, he has also made them an indelible part of the paltry, feeble, crooked, horizontal reputation possessed by British heavyweight boxing. In fact the Booth/Haye pair of crooks could be mentioned in the same breath as some of the great swindlers of this and past eras.

Can you even imagine how many hundreds of millions of Pounds, Dollars, Euros and crapolas which have been lost (and spent) over this weekend due to these two colossal frauds and swindlers. {Until this fight, I'd associated the name "Booth" with the Salvation Army. Even John Wilkes Booth has a better reputation}.

Not by me, I guarantee, but by many who can't really afford it. I really can't understand your giving a creature like Booth a laudatory pass. he even had all his post-fight comments all ready, showing himself to be "the good guy"......................Pshaw!

He not only said that the toe didn't matter, but that Gayevid gave it his all on Saturday (hard to believe) but it was just not good enough because Wlad brought his all as well. He was really surprised how well Wlad adjusted to pressure, which he thought he couldn't do, and how fast Wlad on the offensive after getting hit, instead of going into a "shell", which is what he expected him to do.

He also said, in a round-about-way that Gayevid shouldn't try to rematch Wlad and that he should retire.

Watch it on Sky Sports, latest one of him wearing a pink shirt (seriously, not a joke this time).

The only delusional classless twat left is the Excusemaker himself.
I don't know why you should, I didn't think that you were so easily influenced by a single "tail-between-legs" announcement after the literally hundreds of the exactly opposite, all filled with lies, distortions, scandal, crudities and obscenitites.

They were both in it together, to build up as much as possible to the "Golden Handshake" and then scarper. Booth must have positively KNOWN that Haye had no chance, and ALL the Hollywood Phantasia came from Booth's fertile crooked brain. He wasn't just born yesterday.
Haye just isn't smart enough. He fights for his living, Booth plans and swindles for both of them.

He's been living by his wits all his life and this was just another "piece of cake" for him. And best of all, Haye takes all the blame whilst he comes out "smelling like roses".......

Well, not to me and others like me. I've seen too much of the same DREK flung all over the landscape for the past many years. Some call it "PROMOTION", and others call it "OUTRIGHT THIEVERY". There are lines beyond even the most unscrupulous promoter will not go, but Booth gaily and gleefully jumped over them all. Do you think that it was Haye, the stooge in this duo, who thought of the 'severed heads" Tshirt, or the refusals to shake hands etc.

Not on your life. I'd bet that all those "goodies' came from Booth, who specialises in DREK.

                      Now he's the "good guy"......
