Can you recommend me a good gang strategy game...

I am wondering if you guys could recommend me any strategy games like the classic gangster: Organized Crime


The game was pretty good but it lacked control, it felt very limited.


However I loved the theme and idea and I am looking for a organized crime game that is similar to age of empires with more control then the gangster series.

The thing is, most "mafia" type games now, are sandbox games.

The Civilization games are very good, ditto the Command and Conquer series.

Neither involve organised crime though.

GTA San Andreas has some turf wars that are pretty fun.

doesn't realy require much "strategy" though.
