  • How to throw good body shots?

Im a southpaw mostly facing orthodox fighters.

Should I always change levels and crouch down when I throw jabs, hooks, and straight lefts to the body or should I fire them downwards?

Also how do you throw uppercuts to the body? Lets say I want to get the orthodox fighters liver with a left shovel hook (from the rear hand since im south paw) or is that punch a shovel hook?

What are all the body shots?

Depends what kind of condition your knees are in. If good, then dipping is good to throw body shots. If like me, you're a bit older, well the knees can't take that so much so I tend to tuck my chin in extra much and fire downwards, but this does leave you exposed for a split second more.
