Sorry but, 10oz gloves are the standard in Nevada @ 147. He wasn't asking saying anything out of the norm. So, in that case, Pac would've been asking for the concession, not Floyd. All you have to do is look at the evidence and you will see. FMJ had almost ALL the bargaining power in the May/Mosley fight and what sized gloves did they use? 8oz! So if he would fight Mosley with 8oz gloves, and Mosley hit a lot harder than Pac does, so why wouldn't he fight Pac with them?

You don't understand much about negotiating, do you? In negotiations, an issue can be used as a bargaining chip & it might not necessarily be something "really" wanted or expected. I.E. "Ok, if you agree to the OSDT, we will agree to 8 oz gloves and the fight at 147". So, even if he did ask for it, doesn't mean it was seriously expected to get it & you've gotten what was really important to you.

Unbiased? So you think it's understandable, that a fighter, that has been over the legal limit of his weight class in not 1, but 2 TITLE fights, asks for a weight penalty on fighter who has never come in over the weight class limit?
And 10 mil per lb at that?

Was asking for a 50-50 split, when the gross of your fights, is less and you are paid SUBSTANTIALLY LESS for those fights than the other guys the norm? Ok, right!

I know about negotiation man, I am no dumb ****, I used to say that the first negotiation was just a pissing contest between the two divas and eventually will settle down to make the fight happen.. I was just reacting to an earlier post that clearly insinuate that it was only Manny who made all of the demands and that Floyd only asked for the OSDT and was turned down immediately.. This is not so my man, and I am basing all of this to interviews of both sides..
