Pac got absolutely no credit for shutting out Rios, he out boxed him easily but didn't KO him. People expected Floyd to box Maidana and come away with a lopsided decision (in the same way Pac did Rios), some even thought he'd stop him. None of this happened, it was a close fight that some saw go Maidana's way. For who Floyd is percieved to being, this was a poor performance no matter how you look at it.

pac would murder come forward fighters.. i dont even know why this is up for debate. when trashing pac, floyd fans says pac only does well with limited skill come forward fighters and then now their trying to say maidana would give pac a hard time???? really?? pac would be in and out dancing circles around maidana.

thank u!! pac shut rios out and got no credit, floyd fought a tough fight and pulls out with the "w", and we're suppose to somehow give him credit for that? LOL

Let's rephrase that question. Which current fighter within the welterweight division at the age of 37 and a size disadvantage of 17lbs could have beaten Maidana on Saturday night?

                Agreed 100%

Maidana would be walking into 6 punch combos all night trying to come forward against Pac. And this new Pacman would stand there and get trapped in the corner either. He'd get his combo in and then pivot out of the way. Rinse Repeat all night.

People keep talking about Maidana's awkward style, but the guy isnt that complicated. Not sure why he was able to back Floyd up like that and tee off against the ropes.

Quick heads up, nobody will touch your question with any common sense.

Well Pacman isnt 37 yet, but Pacman is the answer. If there's one thing that he likes, it's pressure fighters. Margs, Rios, etc.. they make him look like a machine.
