  • GGG is the new eastern European star

He will follow in the footsteps of the Klitschko's and make sure Europe is firmly planted on the boxing world map. He has already gained popularity in America and could become the next white superstar. Big fights are awaiting him if he keeps up the steam. He will fight anybody and is willing to compete in multiple divisions. GGG is the next big thing.

Kazakhstan is in Asia and it is dubious to refer to him as 'white'. There is no good reason for him to have fights in eastern Europe which is the surest way to build up big support over there. Golovkin's career from now on will be firmly lodged in America.

His father's Russian, and mother Korean. Judging by his face, his father is white.

He's already outdone the Klits, he's as much a titlist as Vits plus HBO and America actually like watching him!

He's electrifying...but can he beat a top fighter before we place a crown? Is that too much to ask?

Its not, but let the agenda driven have their moment. GGG is fun to watch.

all the top middleweights ducked him. there is a thing called forfeiting in sports. they forfeited so golovking is rightfully at the top. this reminds me of the margarito fiasco when he was #1 for 3 years and bums like mayorga, spinks, judah, baldomir, and floyd refused to fight him. you can't be the best if you pretend the most dangerous opponent doesn't exist. you forfeit your title if you aren't willing to give the #1 guy a chance.
